The amount of respect and love a child feels towards the elderly is often influenced by how their parents treats their own parents.

In my opinion, I would love to provide for my mum should she come to that stage. I also long for my partner to be filial and provide for his parents be it through monetary support or otherwise. This shows how responsible he is and also a real man is a man who is thankful and caring.

As for those who think otherwise..... Your lack of compassion and love disgusts me. Can you not remember that you were raised by your parents' love, support, protection, money and patience? Honoring your parents means to provide for them - food, drinks, clothes, basic necessities, taking care of them should they physically require aid, cloth them, shelter them, nurse them should they become ill; even if this is a huge burden on your finances. Remember, when you were young, your parents did exactly the same for you even though you were a huge burden on their finances.

As the world becomes more advanced, humans become less compassionate.

Aging is one of my greatest fears. ( Ya la ya la... go say whatever you want. At least, I am honest about my fears. ) Aging is one of life's thresholds that few of us in our youth are mentally and emotionally prepared for.

I am ~~consistently~~ okokokk, obsessed with delaying my aging process by exercising, ensuring I douse myself with sunscreen, TRY very hard to be careful with my diet, and also by goring myself with skin serums / going for lasers / going for whatever procedures that have been proven to work for others.

And I think this obsession with delaying the aging process has become epidemic in my family. Every time I visit my grandpa, I would bring him tubs of anti-wrinkle and anti-aging creams, tubes of lifting creams and bottles of serums. Occassionally, I would "nag" at him and try my best to instigate him to accompany me when I am on my way to color my hair. lol.... =p =p ( I know I know.... but to me, loving someone means to take care of their grooming needs as well. ;P )

So do try and make time for your family, for time... the lack of it, is the main factor.

I don't believe in leaving my old folks in the nursing homes, even though life might overwhelm me at times, it is my conscience that bothers me. I do not wish to see that blood bond slowly disintegrating where one day my kids would be distanced from their grandparents, become conceited and alas become emotionally impaired as compassion is just but a word in the dictionary.

*note: Partnerships refers to anytime of relationships - friends, family, BGR, husbands, wives, business partners etc.*

When I tweeted this, guys retorted with this statement: "The girls always want us guys to give in one la..."

This made me wonder if all guys feel that way and to what degree do people desire for their soul mates to appear and also if it could be possible that the potential mate would share 95% of your intellectual interests and views.

I personally believe that no one should always give in. There should always be a reason behind every action. Whether that action is a rational one or not, the reason behind it is vital. And in any disagreement, whoever has the most rational reasonings, gets 3/5 or more of the compromise and the other gets 2/5 or less. I also do not think that a full compromise is right because that would seem selfish, derogatory and would only be a prejudicial concession - much like a surrender. I feel that at the end of the day, there is a limit to anyone's tolerance. No matter how patient one is, one day, the volcano would slowly but surely erupt.

I love to engage in "friendly" (sometimes, it would turn agressive especially when I am trying to get my point across.... hahahahahahヽ(ｏ`皿′ｏ)ﾉヽ(ｏ`皿′ｏ)ﾉ) debates and listen to other's opinions.

BUT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do ensure that your reasonings are sound and not some crap you drew out from the toilet bowl. Thanks! I do listen to and at times accept other people's opinions, ( although not very often.... what?! At least I am admitting it, right? wahahahha =p ) if I deem them trustworthy and points pointed out valid.

No lasting relationship can ever be achieved entirely through tolerance, this I totally agree. But there has to be some amount of tolerance involved. However, how much is some? This would then depend on the people involved. Everyone has their limits and boundaries. For me, I have a 3 strikes limit to everything. Once this limit is surpassed (at strike 3), I would turn from sane to 凸(｀⌒´メ)凸 "insane". Hahahhaha... My structural integrity would break into pieces and in its place would be a soft rumbling escalating into a full fledged ROYAL RUUUMMMMMmmmmmBBBLE!!! hahahahahhaha =p

Therefore, I feel that it is important to learn how to successfully communicate with your partners, this prevents matters from escalating to a stage beyond repair and also enhances one's relationships.

Here are a few tips on how to communicate with your partners and getting your points across :

These points are pointed out to me by my mentor.

1. Say what you mean and mean what you say.

Aiyah, but I always say 反话. Everytime I try to "solicit" something out of my partners, I would say the opposite thing, to me, this tests their loyalty / love / amount of sacrifice they are willing to put in for me. Wahahahhahaha ya la ya la I am very very very very very irritating.

*Shall go sit in one corner and slap myself.... =p*

Disclaimer : By "solicit", I meant getting people to "sayang" me!!!!!

2. Do what you say and say what you do.

Ok, this statement speaks for itself.

3. Pay attention to other people's body reactions and needs.

In any relationships, there would be needs that are unmet and when these needs are ignored, resentment would take its place. The common method that everyone uses to voice out their unmet needs are to blame one another, put the other party down, being critical of the other's actions or decisions OR to complain. And if ignored, it could snowball into a huge spat. If we pay attention to one another's needs and body reactions, we would be able to identify what they may need or at least identify that there is a need and seek to understand what that need is. For me, I feel that it is more effective to preempt any arguments.

My personal mantra : It is crucial to focus on what I want, instead of what is happening that is getting on my nerves. AND AND AND Prevention is always better than cure!!!! ( 。・_・。)人(。・_・。 )

4. Everyone's feelings, needs, wants, thoughts, opinions, way of doing things, preferences, choice, taste are legit.

You have to understand and identify your own thought processes and express these to your partner(s). Choice of words should be noted. You should also know that it is okay to be yourself, your reaction to everything depends on your upbringing, people whom you have close contact with and your personal experiences. Therefore you are not at fault when your thoughts or opinions or actions differ from your partners. A good partner would recognise this and respect your decisions and choices. A good partner does not have to fully understand or 100% agree with you in order for your decisions or choices to be respected, logical or legit. A good partner might disagree but after stating their views, would come to a compromise with you. Learn to accept each other's point of views and respect each other's life experiences and you'll be able to deepen your bond. =)

5. Learning to play an excellent supporting role.

At times, you are the lead actor / lead actress. But sometimes, you have to play the supporting role, what we call the calefare. Learn to become a good listener, practise to become the president of your partners' fan club and strive to show the support your partners seek.

Listening to your partners makes them feel that you are showing them efforts to understand how they feel or think.

When you are the president of your partners' fan club, you are their greatest admirers. Their biggest fan.
And there is only one fan that should matter to your partners the most : YOU.

Striving to show your partners the support they seek is through your actions in aiding them to become the BEST that they can be. EG : When they are having exams, you should co-ordinate and ensure that the environment is conducive for studying. When they are stressed out at work, you should try to help them destress and provide a safe, unprejudiced haven for them to retreat to instead of getting pissed over having to do your partner's share of the household chores. ( Ya la ya la... easier said than done, but at least try ma!!! I said STRIVE, didn't I? hahahah =p )

Communication and compromise helps create beautiful memories in all partnerships, it enriches everyone's life and strengthens your bonds. It shows your partners that you are respectful and mindful of their situations; it gives your partners a sense of security; it shows how responsible you truly are; and it prevents any resentment from escalating.

Perhaps it is time to reboot your partnerships and show your partners that you truly care, respect and value them. Don't be surprised when you try my tips and the level of intimacy and trust sky rockets!

Over the CNY period, I caught movies *ate popcorn & nanchos* , played mahjong *ate pizza & pineapple tarts*, went to chinatown *randomly stuffed food down my throat wahhahaha*, meandered the 99 bends *ok was a good girl, I did not eat anything* , felt the wind in my face in a convertible *wasn't stuffing myself with food* , queued for bak kwa *munched on candy* , helped prepare reunion dinner *ate more pineapple tarts FML* , visited relatives *ate one whole packet of pork floss & randomly, I mean slowly inching all the other oishiiiii goodies into my mouth* and OF COURSE, gaining weight.

I am seriously a yo-yo dieter.... YOpopcorn!!! YO pineapple tarts!!!!! *SLAPS SELF*

Her World Jan 2012 : It is not an ADDICTION!

We had lots of F.U.N during this shoot, although I was feeling a little under the weather that day. I was sulking because I felt that I had put on some weight. ヽ(｀⌒´メ)ノ

This photoshoot was for a write-up about Plastic Surgery. In fact, as much as everyone wants to deny this phenomenom, it is actually becoming a common practice. While Asians are mostly crazy about double eyelids and nose jobs, the westerners are more concerned about boob jobs and liposuctions.

There used to be a veil of secrecy around such procedures but ever since the hit plastic surgery-themed series "Nip/Tuck", it is no longer taboo to talk about it.

After reading the article in Her World, I felt the need to clarify that I am not addicted to plastic surgery.

Here are my thoughts on Plastic Surgery :

Sufficient Funds & Moral Support

1) Make sure you have sufficient funds and the moral support of your friends or family before deciding to undergo a procedure.

Love the Animes, but.....

2) I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE the anime girls' big eye look, BUT I do not wish to look like I have just walked out of a comic book. (*￣m￣)Sigh....

Ensure that this is a PERSONAL CHOICE!!!!

3) Undergoing the knife is a PERSONAL CHOICE!!!!! Please do not be influenced by someone else or allow the media to distort your self image. For me, I simply wanted to ENHANCE my looks and whatever I chose to do, I am not influenced or co-orced by anyone at all. In my opinion, undergoing the knife is no different from coloring one's hair / shaving your armpits / coloring your nails / going for eyebrow embroidery / applying make-up / going for eyelash extensions etc etc. These actions are also NOT NATURAL. To me, plastic surgery is simply a tool for one's own personal grooming. I am not harming anyone by making this decision. SHOULD anything go wrong, I ONLY HAVE MYSELF TO BLAME and no one else. I take full responsibility for that!! And of course, the surgeon you chose has to take responsibility too. =))

Do your own research!!!!!

4) HOWEVER, having said all that, I would still insist that if you decide to undergo a procedure, please please please do your research. Read up articles written by the surgeons and read up what other patients are saying about the surgeon. You have to know what you are getting yourself into. You have to understand the risks involved and at least have a backup plan - "What should I do if something goes wrong?" For me, before deciding on the surgeon, I did my research very very very thoroughly. I shopped around for a plastic surgeon and talked to each and every surgeon before deciding which one I felt most comfortable with. I know exactly what I am getting myself into and I also had my own backup plans. FULLY understand what you are getting yourself into and whether this procedure suits you.

FAKE -vs- REAL?!?!?!?

5) I am also conscientious in retaining my youth.... hahahahaha Or whatever that is left of it. (●´∀｀●) Whoever said that being a female was easy, has gotta be kidding me!!!!!! I have a pretty low threshold for pain but for the sake of beauty, I faced my fears. I did not try to enshroud my surgeries and pretend that I look like this from the start. And if this is fake to you, then pray tell me your definition of real. Do remember that by applying concealer to your dark eyebags or even wearing a PUSH-UP bra to enhance your assets is ALREADY a lie in itself.

Year 2012 : THE YEAR OF CHANGE

The holiday season is officially over.... And at a perfect timing too!!

I'm getting sick of the junk food, sick of feeling bloated and mad angry at myself for gaining the extra weight over this holiday season. I NEED and CRAVE for normalcy and some routine back in my life.

2011 has been a very crazy year for me. And boy, AM I GLAD THAT its all over. *Gladly welcomes YEAR 2012 with WIDE OPEN ARMS!!!!!

I shall now proclaim YEAR 2012 to be a year of change for me. Here's to a HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE!!!!! No more random spamming of oishiiii food, no more binge eating at buffets and most importantly, more exercise for this lazy ass of mine!

Change - a word filled with amazement and emotions, it may seem like a great idea. But, truth be told, the change which I would emcompass in my life, does trigger some resistance and fear. Every morning, I wake up brainwashing myself :"You can do it!" I know I should be embracing and welcoming this change as it would be an improvement to the current quality of my life. I am filled with gratitude and appreciation for the opportunities given to me so far.

I know it is a process and to attain the optimal outcome, even my loved ones needs to committed and open to this change. ( FYLs people.... but know that I STILL LOVE YOU! wahahhahaha =p )

I have internalised the entire process and here are some tips on how YOU TOO CAN IDENTIFY parts of your life where a change is needed. In order for change to last, you would need really really KICKASS FRIENDS who would gladly provide that slap in the face or that kick in the shin anytime you step out of line. ( wahahahhaha =p give u a good "walloping" if need be. Nah... I'm just kidding! =p )

Steps to take to start a CHANGE in your own life :

- Decide that a change is needed.

- Make a timeline and set gradual milestones.

- Reward yourself at each milestone achieved.

- Taking small steps every single day and reminding yourself that this is for your own good.

- Taking some time to look after your own emotional, mental and physical self. Re-evaluate how the changes have affected you monthly.

Rally your loved ones to form your support group :

Your support group is vital too! Surround yourself with friends who truly care for you and your well-being, talk to positive people who would bring about encouragement, have that one true buddy that you know you can trust NO MATTER WHAT!!! ( These are the friends / loved ones who *FYL* are always critical of what you do and what you are about to do, they never ever sugar coat their words and they would flag you at all costs.)

However, do ensure your support group aids your growth in the right way.

Here's what my support group has been doing so far and it has been working positively for me :

BY NOT BEING A HELICOPTER:

THEY'LL NEVER HOVERING AND PEEP OVER MY SHOULDERS!!!

They believe that everyone has their own pace when running their own race. As my supporters, they ensure that they do not flood me with too much criticisms and this helps make everything seem less like a chore to me. And since change generally comes slow, I can jolly well do without the "ah-ha" moments. My supporters understand me so well, they know that in order to achieve a lasting change, it must stem from my own desire of wanting something different for my life.

LOVE VS. MANIPULATION:

THEY GIVE ME CHOICES!!!

My loving darlings never ever tried the manipulation method on me, they know that it doesn't work well on me. I would become more rebellious and do the opposite just for the fun of it. They never ever tried using anger or avoidance or guilt-tripping me into changing either. They know that I need lots of support, so I have not experieced a harsh or stern tone when they are pointing out my faults. They know that I need a lot of love and concern now, and not a warden. I am truly very very thankful for the love that has been showered upon me.

I am glad that they remembered that as my support group, they are playing the part of a cheerleader extremely well. In order to be a unified team, I need them to constantly cheer me on!!!!

BUT BUT I am not expecting them to be sugar coating every word and every sentence. I need them to be firm yet gentle, kind with their words yet frank. I will try my best to make it easy for them. *crosses my fingers and smiles cheekily* wahahhahahaha.....

BE THANKFUL FOR EVERYTHING :
THEY MAKE ME REALISE THAT I SHOULD COUNT MY BLESSINGS EVERYDAY!!!!!!

Thank you for being in my support group for the past few months!!!! I know I can count on you peeps to stay on course. I am glad that all of you are so open to learning and seeking ways to contribute. I am so sosoos grateful that all of you had the courage to help me with the changes I need to create a healthier body. hahahahahhaha.... =p

And because you peeps lead by example, I now clearly see, hear and feel that change is not such a difficult move. I am glad to be infected by all of your "rules of a HEALTHY lifestyle" and I hope that I would not be creating too much chaos in your life for this period of time too.... hahahahahhahha *makes a cheeky face*

A night to remember....

Being in a dimly lit location, one should never fear, in fact one should just enjoy the sensation of not seeing the unknown...

Imagine that you are in a dimly lit room, for the first time you are recognizing your loved one not by sight but by the sound of his/ her voice. As his/ her voice tells you a story in the dark, your senses are heightened and elegance is felt.Forget the candles and experience this unforgettable journey of feeling the genuine presence of your loved ones, for the 1st time concentrate on their voice and listen intently, for their words are amplified in the dark.

Just imagine, that you have lost your sight for an hour or two, and you are abandoning vision in exchange for a new, multi-sensual experience. Would you take his / her hand and began such a journey? The journey into the unknown………..

For a very long time, my Christmases have been spent slogging away at work. This was the first Christmas in a very long time that I did not have to work like a 'mule'. The bf planned the entire celebration, which was vvvvvvvv sweet of him. He knows that I am a BIG fan of trying out new things because my curiosity always gets the better of me. =p And so, he found an exotic restaurant - PASHA.

Upon strolling into the restaurant, the opulent ambience made me gasp because it was like experiencing Morocco right here in Singapore. The place was very well designed and every detail was attended to. Sweeping arches, high ceilings, intricate lighting, brightly colored carpets, sweet melody of Moroccan music playing in the background and velvety upholstery; all located within a shophouse located in the heart of Kampong Glam.

Food was flavourful, with each mouthful I could taste the Morrocan spices, and every bite tantalized my taste buds, heightening my sensation of smell. The aroma that came from the food seemed to entice me to take one more bite and another bite and yet another. I forgot about my diet, and everything in the world became a distant memory. All I could hear was his voice and all I could taste was the delectable spread before me; Sight? I do not need to see for all that is surrounding me, I could feel with such intensity.

After the meal, he took my hand and we headed upstairs to the al fresco area where one can choose to lounge in your very own private gazebo and gaze at the stars. We chose to sit indoors for the clouds were perspiring that beautiful evening...

Verdict : The perfect place for a romantic date or to gather with your best buds for a catch-up session. Food deserves a rating of 4.5 out of 5 for me. Ambience was fantastic. A little point to note is that the entrance to the restaurant is pretty secluded, this could have been enhanced by providing clearer signs. Overall, one of the most memorable days of my life.

Infini Face Lift

For the longest time, I have been contemplating the "GOLD THREAD LIFT" procedure at the TCS CLINIC as I felt that my cheeks were losing its elasticity. I had been consuming collagen and a bottle of bird's nest everyday.

Not sure if the collagen powder and bird's nest is working but I would prefer to think it is. *winkplaceboeffectwink*

Anyhow, I was researching on the possible treatments to tighten my skin and enhance its elasticity. I wanted to improve the lines near my nose - nasal folds and tighten my saggy cheeks. (Looking like a BULLDOG soon... FML!!!) Upon consulting Dr Chow at TCS Clinic, he recommended that I try out the INFINI treatment.

A layer of numbing cream was applied to my face prior to the treatment,

which took 30 mins to take effect.

Dr Chow then used the INFINI machine and worked it on my face.

Truth be told, this treatment is not for the weak hearted.

If you have a very low threshold for pain, please request the doctor to

provide local anesthesic for the areas that would be treated prior to the treatment.

Needles were pierced through my skin and therefore you can see some blood.

This micro needling technique helps the RF to penetrate deeper into our skin!

The amount of pain I was in can be deciphered from the way I clenched my fists.

hahahah =p

All for the price of beauty.....

Overall Feedback :

TOTALLY WORTH THE PAIN!!!!!!!!

For the number of compliments I got after the entire episode, I totally think the INFINI treatment is a must try. However, if your threshold for pain is really really low, you might want to consider another alternative to this treatment. It is quite painful for me, on a scale of 1-10, this treatment gets a 7.5/10 for the amount of pain I received. But the results deserves a 9/10. =)))) 2 thumbs up to Dr Chow and his team for helping me regain my youth!!!!!! =D

What do you look for in a relationship?

Relationships can either be the most awesome thing of your life or the most painful. However, there's a difference between affairs of the heart and expressions of love and commitment. Today, I was asked,"What do you look for in a relationship?"

As the years passed, my requirements changed. I know what I want and need in a relationship partner and this gives me a clearer picture of how I need love to be expressed to me and how I express love to my partner.

You should always take the time to think about what kind of partner will best match your needs, this helps you save time and also........ heartache.

My List:

- If he means something to you, COMPROMISE with your partner.

Eg. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cold so so so much. So everytime I sleep, I would turn the air-con to 16 degrees and I would feel super shiok!!!! But because no one else can stand the cold except me. Yala yala... I'm like a polar bear. lol.... =p So for the sake of my partner's sanity, I usually adjust the temperature to 21 or 22 degrees.

- Respecting each other's decisions and judgements, even if your opinions differ from each other. Everyone has a right to choose! Remember this!!! Don't force your other half to do something they do not want to do. To me, he can walk in an opposite direction from me, yet we would remain side by side; because I would support him in whatever that he does and I hope it is the same for him. I feel that no one should be controlled like a robot/ playdoll / barbie doll / ken doll. Sooner or later, the controlled party would want to break free.

- I want my partner who will be there when I cry, pick me when I fall, laugh with me, have fun with me, discuss serious issues with me and just be there to accompany me should the going get tough.

- Love me unconditionally : Even if I'm bimbotic, clumsy, poor with directions, spill my food, weird, crazy or fat. To my loved one, it should always be ok. Because he knows my ugliest side and to him, its absolutely adorable!!! =D I want someone who gives to me and expects nothing in return.

- I want to be myself and not feel inhibited or worry of being judged by my other half. Vice versa.

- I want to help him grow into a better person, and he me. Encouraging each other so as to bring out the best in each other.

- I want to be the 1st person he calls if he has anything to share. Vice versa.

- I want someone who will set me free to be who I am and trust that I will always return, vice versa.

- I want someone who will be completely honest with me, and not cheat behind my back.

- I want someone patient.

- I want someone filial.

- I want someone who is not afraid of change or growth.

- I want someone who adds value to my life, values the relationship and me above everything and always puts me first.

- I want someone who will create awesome memories with me. Even if its in the darkest time of our life, I would keep those memories close to my heart.

- I want someone who fervently wants to understand me and fulfill my unique and individual needs.

- I want someone who never assumes they know what I mean and takes time to understand what I truly meant. To me, all men need to be in touch with their feminine sides, and vice versa so that we can understand each other better.

- I want someone who is supportive and secure. He knows exactly who he is and is sure of his identity. He is unfrazzled by others.

- I want someone who will fight my demons with me, and I'll fight his with him. When we're tired of fighting, we can sit down and whine to each other. We will listen to each other's opinions but the end decision would be decided by the person himself / herself. Only he/ she can decide which is the best solution for him/ her. And when a solution is chosen, the other party would be behind them telling them,"It's ok. Just do it! I'm right here for u. If you fall, I'll always catch u." I might not agree with everything my partner does but for me, I do not want him to be a 'yes' man either. I don't want nor NEED a 'dog'. I want to tell my partner my opinions and he can choose for himself. We would each have our own freedom of choice, yet respect each other's freedom of choice. THIS, is what I call true FREEDOM.

- I want someone who would sit me down and ask me to take a look at my actions as all actions triggers a reaction. And also tell me how to react in the case of an argument, then provide a list of solutions on how to react.

- I want someone who knows their boundaries and how they should and should not react in our relationship. And not stepping out of that boundary would be crucial.

- Being in a relationship entails sparing a thought for the other party's thoughts or feelings when doing something.

- Lastly, both of us have to understand that we have to give and take in the relationship. Most of the time, I want to take and he can continuously give.... wahahhahahahahaha *disclaimer, I'm just joking!!!* Wherever possible, it is important to apply this pharse :"It is more fulfilling to give than to receive."

Choosing the right partner is vital but this is no easy feat. However, when you find that ONE special person, your quality of life is totally enhanced. The right partner brings out the best in you and he/ she only wants the best for you. The right partner would also not be afraid to give you a kick in the shin should you go overboard. The right partner would also mirror back to you the qualities that you can't see in yourself, whether it is good or bad.

In times of conflict, the right partner would see this as a growth opportunity for us as a couple and a chance to better ourselves. It is essential to improve ourselves whether we are in a relationship or not, the right partner would be very open to change and growth. With the right partner, your team is stronger. With the right partner, you have the courage to brave the winds, you have the ability to race down the speed bumps of life and feel on top of the world.

There's some things or people that hold us back and they also prevent us from moving forward and hinder us from pursuing our dreams and from having some of the best relationships in our life.

There are a few emotions that we are driven by...

Sadness / L♥VE / Joy / Fear / Anger

I'm going to write about FEAR today.

When we are trying to fall in love, some of us have FEARS in our life that keep us from moving forward.  Some of us are trapped in a "cage" which we have built around ourselves. This "cage" is formed when one becomes coarsened and cynical from being exposed to the real world.

There is the FEAR of never being good enough that often cloud our thoughts too.

FEAR that we wouldn't be loved.

FEAR that we would lose control.

FEAR that we would be abandoned.

FEAR that others would judge us.

FEAR that we are not able to meet our deadlines.

FEAR that we cannot meet expectations.

FEAR that love will be taken away from us.

FEAR that we'll get hurt by people who are meant to love us.

FEAR that you would fail in trying to achieve your dreams.

SO MANY FEARS!!!!!

At the root of it all, we're still like a child in a grown up body.  These fears were imprinted into our brains from when we were a little child.

I'm not writing this post to point to you peeps that you have fears, EVERYONE does. MY FEAR IS super hilarious, and if I told you, you'll all laugh. My fear is I cannot sleep alone at night. I would have 6 pillows surrounding me, my dogs beside me before I am able to sleep. I am very very paranoid that the wicked witches would catch me and eat me at night, because my parents always told me if I did not sleep on time, the witches would come. *sheepish look* hahahahahhahah my boyfriends would laugh every time I tell them this fear.

I am writing this to tell myself and you peeps that when you allow this FEAR to CONTROL your life, you would not be able to enjoy your life fully. You would not be able to be truly and completely FREE. Instead, WE should be in CONTROL of it.

DON'T LISTEN TO ANY CYNICAL CRITICISMS. Keep reminding yourself that no one else matters EXCEPT you. GO achieve whatever you want for your life, BE whoever you want to be, DO whatever you want to do. NOTHING and NO ONE can stop you, it's only FEAR that is holding you back. We do not need to fear failure at all, for failure is the mother of all success.

So, the choice is up to you.

Know what you want to do and plan how you're going to do it.

Tell yourself everyday : I WILL HAVE NO FEARS.

What appears to be difficult is actually very SIMPLE. Don't overthink it - leave your fears at the door and life can be so much more fulfilling. =)))

Remember : Take life with a grain of salt.....a slice of lime, and a shot of tequila! ;)

You know whenever you get yourself into a new relationship; there would be those butterflies in your tummy, urges to see each other now now now and that perpetual smile when you think of each other. You are at the honeymoon period, my friend!

However, the honeymoon can be prolonged if you stick to rules....

Relationship Rules :

Rule #1: Rules are based on what both of you have agreed upon from the start. Rules are not absolute for everyone, they can be changed from one relationship to another.

Rule #2: Accept each other as a whole; not like some parts and hope to change other parts.

Rule #3: When you face hurdles, both of you have to stick together and talk things through. Not give up and give in. Don't run at the first hurdle.

Rule #4: Say what you mean. Honesty is always the best policy.

Rule #5: Learn from your past relationships, everyone has made mistakes in their past but it doesn't have to affect your present or your future! Set detailed goals for both your futures and live for yourselves NOW! Learn from the past, treasure the moment, prepare for the future and enjoy the SEX!!!!!

Rule #6: When in doubt, talk things out. Proper communication is the key to having good relationships.

Rule #7: Don't expect a perfect ending and the ending, it'll be perfect.

Rule #8: State your expectations and renew these expectations every 3 years. This allows both of you to understand your goals and head towards it hand in hand.

I miss doing stupid random things with my friends.

I miss the days when I used to have nap time after lunch in school and instead, these times was spent gossiping with my kindergarten friend.

I miss the thrill of discovering new things.

I miss having life so simple, that the only thing I would care about is how much candy I was allowed to eat or how long I was allowed to play outside.

I also miss the cartoons from my childhood, in my opinon, cartoons were much better many years ago.

I miss all the games I used to play with my siblings, we could build anything out of some paper or even a blankie coupled with tons of IMAGINATION... and VOILA~ CHO FUN! ＼(･∀･*)／

I miss my teenage life; doing all the crazy things in the classroom.... like pouring water down my classmate's neck just for the fun of it... putting the school bully's uniform inside the toilet bowl.. hahahahhaa

I also miss seeing my daddy around the house.

I miss those old Ladybird books, those Nancy Drew books, and those Enid Blytons.

I miss the days when only tying my own shoe laces was the hardest thing to do and my mummy would make up a bunny song to teach me how to do it on my own.

I miss playing barbies, 家家酒 or whatever that I made up in my mind and I know that I could let my imagination run wild.

I miss not having to pay bills.

I miss not knowing how big the world outside was and not knowing how precarious & unpredictable life can be.

I miss the smell of Granny's cooking and the way she tells me to eat more and smiles at me. It is during these fleeting times when the universe around me was peaceful, calm, and filled with everlasting hope.

I miss my Grandpapa's story-telling; the fantastic stories of his childhood he used to tell me for hours on end.

I miss doing anything I want and being contented with it; just a piece of chocolate would delight me till no end. Now even the most expensive ones are fat inducers to me. (T_T)

I miss laying on my back in the garden of our old home, watching the clouds and the only thing to care about is if my favourite cartoon is playing soon.

I miss looking out for every possible way in order to SKIP a class and always hoping that a teacher would be absent so that I can play with my classmates.

I also miss playing with all my stuffed animals and forcing them to have picnics or weddings. (・∀・ )

I miss wrestling, Transformers, Lego, playdoh, captain planet, teenage ninja turtles, marvel comics, old disney cartoons, Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, Winnie the Pooh, Sonic the hedgehog, Bugs Bunny cartoons, My little pony cartoons, Strawberry shortcake cartoons and those Lullabies, my mum used to sing to me to make me sleep.

I miss the days when there were no intricate love affairs where I have to fret about who to choose.

I miss the members of my family that aren't here any more.

I miss using blankets and pillows and building a fortress with them and there I felt invincible! p(*＾-＾*)q

I miss eating toffees and chocolates which I used to buy from the mamastore near my school.

I miss those carefree days. when I did not care about what other people thought about me. Of cos, I still do not give a damn what other people think about me BUT its not like when I was kid. When I was a kid, being best or first, did not matter, all I did was live life like it's the most beautiful and sacred thing!

I miss hiding myself by climbing inside ridiculously small spaces and popping out to scare people. It makes me vvvvvvv happy to see them shocked.... hahhahhahha ＼(o￣∇￣o)/ BOO!

I miss having those birthday parties where my mum dresses me up in cute lacey frocks and kept asking me to say: "Cheese~~~"

I miss writing those long letters to Santa, feeling excited about the Christmas presents that he would bring and thinking that he was real.

I miss being able to run around playing hide-n-seek or catching non-stop for hours on end, and strangely, it felt exhilarating.

I miss the youth and the little child in me....
