As you already know, I had most of my plastic surgery done in Korea -- Gangnam, the glamorous "Beverly Hills of Seoul" that Psy raps about in his global hit aka "Gangnam Style".

If you are interested to travel to Korea, here are a few travel tips I wanted to share with you peeps.

3 Places you should visit in Korea :

1) Jeju Island

Jeju Island is a volcanic island that is filled with breathtaking sights. You can expect to be blown away by this picturesque island surrounded by the indigo sea that blends beautifully with the spectacular scenery and unique culture.

Jeju Island is also one of the top honeymoon destination for Korean newlyweds.

"Haenyeos"  (해녀, female divers) are also a common sight at Jeju Island. It was said that back in the days when Jejudo Island was a land of fishing villages, the local women were responsible for a large part of the family’s income. "Haenyeos” (해녀, female divers) often went diving to collect shellfish and edible seaweed, filling the quiet sea air with whistles announcing their catch.

2) Korea Trick Eye Museum

My mum and sister just came back from Korea and they visited the Trick Eye Museum. Here are some interesting photos taken there:

3) Dongdaemun Market and Namdaemun market

So you love the korean's dress sense? Then you have to go shopping at Dongdaemun Market and Namdaemun market.

Dongdaemun Market is open 24-hours a day. At Dongdaemun Market, you can buy everything you need and want at a reasonable price, in one convenient location and at anytime. Most major wholesalers and retailers are here along with specialist outlets focusing on the youth market, making Dongdaemun Market the best place to find the latest fashions at bargain prices. Dongdaemun’s famous food alley, Mukja Golmok, is also essential for anyone wanting to check out the latest trends in Korean cuisine.

Namdaemun Market is open from 11pm to 3am. At Namdaemun Market, you will find more household products like -- glassware, fishing equipment, hiking gear, sports getups, carpets, ginseng stores and toys. You would see a more urban side of Koreans at Namdaemun Market.
