I haven't been blogging these few days because.................

1) I am lazy sooooooooo busy with our new place.
2) of my wedding shoots.
3) I am pre-occupied with attending events.
4) I am busy editing my own wedding album to send to my printers.
5) the happy days just fly past me before I can even stop to breathe. lolx... =))))

Shot one set of wedding photos on 8 August 2012 - note the date :8/8/2012 (8, 8 and 20-12=8 as well) hahahaha but no we didn't plan it to be such.

The professional photographer for one of our shoots - Kent Wong has not sent me the photos he took yet, but here is a summary of the type of shots we did.

THIS SET OF PHOTOS was taken solely by an amateur -- my sister who has NO IDEA what she is doing. She used my SONY ALPHA A57K and took these.

Even an amateur can take such awesome photos with minimal touch-ups. (Ok la ok la... I only touch up my face and body. I did not touch up for my husband ok!!!!!! lol....)

I am sure we would both remember our wedding photography sessions in the years to come,
because we had so much fun and laughed and giggled and played like little kids.

And to congratulate me on my marriage, the nicest peeps from luxycouture sent me 2 maxi dresses.... so..... I decided to do a mini interview with the peeps there!

Mini Interview with Luxycouture :

What made you decide to start your own business?
This blogshop is a continuation of another blogshop that was created based on Love and we were also inspired by MDS Collections.
How did you decide on ladies fashion?
We decide on our product based on how limited the item is in the market. We try to find items that are not easily found in local store. Although many others may found that some items we have can be found in other online boutique. However, in general, we do standout from them in term of readily available. We also carry a bigger percentage of Maxi Dress, simply because I'm a maxi dress lover and Maxi Dress sold in local store are relatively expensive and also fewer blogshop locally provide a wide range of Maxis. Hence it gave us the idea to provide affordable and nice Maxi Dress. Another deciding factor is one item for many usage. This has always been an headache for ladies to decide what to wear for works, dates and parties. So with designs that could fits most of these criteria, we will bring it in and have it showcased it our online boutique for sales.

In what ways do you promote your business? Facebook, Twitter, instagram, print media?
At the moment, our means of advertising are facebook, blogshop directories, eNewsletter and bloggers.
What skills did you already have when you started your business and what did you have to learn?
Coming from an IT background and passion for shopping are some "skills" that help ease us with some problem in starting up this business. Like mention previously that this blogshop is a continuation of another blogshop. The 1st blogshop which provide and also gave us quite a good knowledge and experience on how handle this business more effectively. Although it not any easy job and lots of back end administrative stuff needed to be done to ensure there will be a smooth flow throughout the operation.

That's all for now till I receive more photos from the shoots. I hope you people have tons of fun looking at my photos. And if you are a bride-to-be, about to take your pre-wedding shots, remember to stay CALM and APPLY TONS OF FACE MASK so that your photos will be as awesome as mine, if not way better!!!! =)))))

In the meantime........ read these~~
