Received the Sony Nex F-3 last week and I was super excited to bring it out for a "test drive". As we were going on a staycation at D'Kranji Farm Resort that very weekend, so it was the perfect opportunity for me to do a mini shootout with the SONY NEX F-3

The Sony Nex F-3 comes in 3 colors : pink, black and white.
Priced at : SGD$1099** (gst included)

All photos shown here are not sharpen.
Photos of nature are not retouched and no filters are added.
Some photos with my face is touched up using liquify tool and filters.
My hubby's face is not touched up at all. *Lol.... I know he loves his wrinkles*

The Sony Nex F-3 deserves a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Perfect for the travelling camwhore! *winks*

The Sony's Nex series is their range of compact system cameras. In camwhore terms, it is supposed to produce DSLR quality photos at a fraction of the weight and size and price.

On top of its smaller size, Sony's Nex F-3 sports a 16.1 megapixel sensor and and a 180 degrees LCD design plus a built-in flash!
When the LCD is flipped up, you can activate the 3s or 10s self timer, it is like looking at yourself in the mirror.

This has got to be the perfect camera for the camwhore!!!!

However, some points to note :
* When you want to take a self-portrait in the dark, you have to pop up the flash in advance before flipping up the LCD screen; and when you do so, part of the LCD screen is blocked.

* You would need to set the camera on Intelligent Auto before camwhoring, as the buttons to adjust are at the back; and when the LCD screen is flipped, it is quite difficult to make changes.

I shot in RAW and in JPEG and both photo outcome amazes me. For its size and compactibility, the results are fantastic. But it is a little too heavy for my liking. If only Sony could make their compact system cameras EVEN SMALLER. *winks*

Location of the shootout : D'kranji Farm Resort  10 Neo Tiew Lane 2, Singapore 718813.

Do drop by : Bollywood Veggies Pte Ltd for their MORINGA tempura!!!!!! Super super oishii! lol...

Also the resort was pretty small though, so you might have to take 2 resorts if your family is big. =))))
